this single shot recording invites to join a journey.

from childhood boredom of passing time in the sunday family car drive to getting mesmerized by a train journey through a beautiful landscape.
similar to looking a [very slow] moving clouds and seeing faces or blotches in those, the [very fast] moving landscape passing tricks the brain in trying to make sense by narrowing in on something 'familiar'..
by presenting this work spatially, i am curious to take people on a ride.. wherever it leads them in their minds..

on one wall fast passing images are projecting, whereas on the opposite, a steel plate of the same dimensions is hanging; a spatial videoinstallation?
